Description

Focus Fido is a 5 week manners class for dogs over 5 months of age that need to learn, or have more practice with, commonly-valued skills such as auto-attention, name recognition, 'leave it', sit, down, stay, coming when called and loose leash walking.

Entry criteria: dog is over 5 months of age; dog is friendly to humans; dog is not excessively reactive to other dogs **Important: While some excitement and some vocalizing is normal, the pre-requisite for this class is that your dog can work in a room with other dogs. If your dog is very difficult to walk because of lunging and barking then our Canine Calm class is the class we recommend.

Class size: Maximum of 6 students
Class length: 60 minutes
Room size: 2500 square feet
What to bring: 5-6 foot leash, a flat collar or harness, at least a cup of pea-sized treats and a pocket or pouch to put your treats in.

Entry criteria for Let's Go!: completion of Focus Fido

The Let's Go! lessons will allow you ongoing practice of what you learned in Focus Fido. The Let's Go! lessons are offered many times a week and registration allows you access to all of them. Once registered you will receive a link to a simple reservation calendar so that you can book the spots that work for you. Let's Go! lessons are 45 minutes long and run on Mondays at 10:45am, 11:45am, 4:30pm, 5:30pm; Weds. at 5:00pm, 6:00pm, 7:00pm; Fridays at 11:30am, and at Saturdays 11:30am, 1:45pm.
