Bright Puppy
START HERE! This is the most important class of your pups life! Bright Puppy centers around providing interesting and creative social situations for puppies younger than 20 weeks of age.
Prior to 20 weeks of age, puppies learn as much from what they experience as they do from your training. Because of this, you want to expose your puppy (in a safe way) to as many positive training and social experiences as you can during this time. The experiences are concentrated in this specialized class environment, and you have professional trainers helping you teach your puppy to trust you and feel safe in a variety of situations, at every step.
Mouthing & biting? Not housetrained? Jumping up? Puppies do that! Positive training solutions to all things puppy, are addressed in this class.
Registration includes Let’s Go!, beginning when puppy is over 5 months of age, and as many weekly Bright Puppy classes and Puppy Playtimes as you can attend prior to your Let's Go! start date (or your puppy turning 20 weeks of age).
Prerequisites:
Puppy has been in your home for more than 10 days.
You have proof that puppy has a minimum of one set of vaccinations from a veterinarian.
Bright Puppy classes are available Saturday mornings OR Tuesday evenings.
Your dog has behaviour problems that basic manners will help resolve (jumping up, rough play, barking, pulling, running away)
You want to build solid foundation behaviours for your "go everywhere" dog
Included in your Let's Go! registration: Let's Get Started! Training Orientation, 6 lessons with your dog, email/phone support from our qualified teaching staff, reduced rates for individual lessons and seminars/workshops, drop-in "tune up" lessons for graduates, and the pre-requisites for our Advanced and Dog Sport classes.
Our unique "levels" program allows you to participate in lessons as they fit into YOUR schedule. Attend when your want to, and focus on the skills most important to your lifestyle.
Start with a 1.5 hour introduction to the skills needed to effectively train your dog and the exercises that solve common behaviour problems.
Follow up training in these core areas:
Be Good! Level 1 focuses on teaching your dog to be calm and attentive in the presence of distractions. You will learn how to keep your dog's attention in any environment, how to have the well mannered dog you want and how to build a reliable down stay.
Come Here! Level 2 is all about recalls! Coming when called is a lifesaving behaviour for every dog. You will learn how to build and maintain a Really Reliable Recall.
Walk Nicely! Level 3 pulls it all together: attention and staying close, to help you learn to respectfully and effectively train your dog to walk with you, maintaining a loose leash (no pulling!).

Are you a Let’s Go! graduate but still want to work on specific skills, fine tune your dog or just keep learning?
Let’s Go! graduates may drop in to any Let’s Go! class (Be Good! or Come Here! or Walk Nicely!), and continue to train as often as you like, on the skills you want to focus on. Purchase lessons in 4, 6 or 8 lesson bundles and work at your own pace! Come as often or as little as you like. Purchased lessons are good for one year.
Check the Class Class Calendars to see what class works for you, bring proof of graduation (copy of grad certificate or Let’s Go! completion card), and your dog’s current vaccination records and come out and play!

Come Here! Advanced makes coming when called your dog's favourite game! Learn how to train your dog to: come through a variety of distractions (and how to use those distractions to reward your dogs fast responses), down at a distance and come under control (politely).
Walk Nicely! Advanced takes loose leash walks to a new level! Learn how to: keep your dog in "heel" through turns, stops and goes, and a wide assortment of distractions; use "heel" with attention to keep your dog focused on you; and use our handling skills to train your dog to off-leash reliability.

Four Left Feet!
Dogs and dance? Yes really! We're not talking tap dancing terriers but, four legged and two legged dance partners, moving to the music - together! Up for an extremely good time - a training challenge - and fancy footwork? Come dancing!

Out and About
Formerly the Good Dog class - we changed the name because - well... they're all good dogs!
Out and About takes you are your well started dog into extreme situations like hotel lobbies, petstores, downtown crowds and restaurant patios. Canine good manners and your good training skills at their finest!.
