Goodbye Growl

Does your dog bark, lunge and growl while walking on leash or when meeting new people? If so, this class is for you and your canine companion.

Goodbye Growl is designed for dogs over six months of age experiencing on-leash frustration, over-excitement, lack of self-control or socialization, and /or fear of other dogs which is exhibited through a fight not flight response. This class is primarily for dog-to-dog reactivity but the same techniques will be used for reactivity to strangers, places, sounds and /or objects.

Students will learn about the causes and responses to reactivity, how dog’s learn, and how to work at their dog’s pace to desensitize and counter condition existing responses. Management and prevention along with specific foundation skills will also be discussed and practiced.
